Glad to be out of Mississipi, the last state to ratify the 13th amendment barring slavery. They did this 130 years after everyone else, in 1995.
They also have the worst/rudest drivers we’ve encountered on our trip so far…we do still have to go through Massachusetts though so this distinction won’t stand.
The Southwest is crawling with white pickup trucks. I bet we’ve seen two Chevy trucks for every scorpion in the desert.
